When you use AI-powered features, Bloom may process your queries and interactions to generate responses. No personally identifiable financial data (account numbers, balances, or holdings) is sent to AI providers. AI queries may include stock tickers, general market questions, and feature-related requests.
Portfolio tracking and display of connected financial account data; AI-powered investment research and stock analysis (using general market data, not your personal financial data); service improvement and feature development; push notifications (with your permission); performance monitoring, error tracking, and bug fixes; legal compliance.
Transit encryption: HTTPS/TLS 1.2+. At-rest encryption: AES-256 (AWS EBS volume encryption). Plaid tokens stored encrypted in production database. Hosting: Render (SOC 2 Type II certified). Database access restricted to application services only with no public internet access. Secrets managed via environment variables; credentials never stored in source code.
